Should You Cut Carbs Out Of Your Diet?

There's a lot of confusion around the topic of carbohydrates, especially those diets that promote fat and protein over carbs. Should you eat carbs or not? Just like fats, it's the type of carbohydrate that is most important. Eventually all carbs turn to sugar in our bodies. These sugars give us the energy we need to perform every day tasks. Some carbs convert to sugar more quickly than others. That's the reason you want to eat complex carbs. They are more slowly digested and they keep your blood sugar levels on an even keel. Eating complex carbs keeps you feeling fuller longer. Complex carbs are found in whole grains, beans and vegetables. I think it is important to include complex carbs in your diet.
