Having a positive attitude may actually extend your life. The results of over 30 studies say that being happy can protect you from becoming ill, and that the effect of happiness on your lifespan is about as strong as not smoking. Are you happy?
I agree again. YES. There is a great study done about women and how we deal with stress - we tend to the children (nuture) and get together with our girlfriends for support. If I find it, I'll send it along - it would fit nicely in your blog.
Thanks for the great article on stress. Men and women react differently to stress. Men tend to hibernate and withdraw. Women seek support from friends. According to that article Janet sent me, not having close friends is as detrimental to your health as smoking or being overweight.

I really believe in this, the power of a positive mind.
YES!
I agree. I believe many illnesses are a result of suppressed feelings of unhappiness.

I just got done reading a great book on stress and how it affects the body. It's called, "Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers" by Robert M. Sapolsky.
Lots of good information!
