Why is it that some people can lose weight and keep it off
and others just regain it? The National Weight Control Registry studied 5,000 people who had lost 30 lbs. or more to answer that very question. They found 5 things these dieters did to lose the weight and to keep it off.
Portion control was the #1 success tool of the dieters.
They ate only a single serving and resisted cleaning their plates when they were full.
The second thing they did was to eat only when they were hungry--not when they were bored or upset.
Third was they exercised regularly.
Fourth was they weighed themselves once a week.
And the fifth thing they did was to eat breakfast everyday.
