For all you people out there who think
you're too old for a little exercise, think again!
Anna Ferris, who is 109 years old, just competed in the Orange County Senior Games, in every event! She says, "I do the best I can. I gotta keep going, keep kicking." Anna was born in 1900. She loves chocolate and good wine and competing! Read her story here.
My sister, my son, and I were judges and scorekeepers for the shuffleboard tournament during this summer's Senior Olympics held at Stanford University. We were so inspired by these supreme athletes!
I think I'm going to indulge in some chocolate right now and some wine a little later in the day.
what an inspiration Anna is to every senior citizen. goes to show that if you have the determination to do something you can cross that finish line.
