The President's Cancer Panel was established in 1971. It's a group of 3 distinguished experts who review America's cancer
program and report directly to the president. The Cancer Panel says we need to rethink the way we confront cancer, including more rigorous regulations of chemicals. Among their recommendations are:
Choose organic foods grown without pesticides, chemical fertilizers and growth hormones.
Avoid meats that are cooked well done.
Check radon levels in the home.
Microwave food in glass containers rather than plastic.
Drink filtered water.
