Are You One Of Those All-Or-Nothing Exercisers?

The mistake most people make when they first start exercising is to set their goals way too high. They want to go from doing nothing to exercising 3 or 4 days a week. It doesn't take long for that enthusiasm to fall by the wayside.
Be realistic when you start an exercise program. Make a goal to workout twice a week and stick with it. You'll see more results from this than exercising a lot for a couple of weeks and then quitting. And if you've missed a few workouts, don't think all is lost. Just start exercising again as soon as you can. Even exercising one day a week will help. Let go of that all-or-nothing mindset. Exercise is something you need to do lifelong. Don't make it so hard.
